POS that sells without drowning the fixture

Trade teams often overprint. Here is a hierarchy that keeps offers readable under fluorescent store light.

Point of sale retail display with products

Under fluorescent aisles, every extra sticker fights the price rail. Trade teams often print three messages where one clear offer would convert better.

A simple hierarchy

  • Fixture header: Season or brand story in five words or fewer.
  • Shelf talker: One offer only — price, multi-buy, or gift-with-purchase.
  • Secondary placement: Benefit line that matches the shopper mission (travel, sharing, cooling).

Leave breathing room around barcodes and retailer price channels. If compliance artwork is mandatory, keep it on the reverse of freestanding units or on a single approved corner — not as a second headline on the front face.
